SUNGO Capacity Building Trainings
The Samoan Umbrella for Non Governmental Organisations (SUNGO) provides training to all its members and to people working in non member NGOs, private businesses or the government. Our role is to build the capacity of the civil society sector for the benefit of all people.
Every year SUNGO does a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of all its members to assess member capacity building needs. The trainings offered in 2012-2013 are chosen based on the TNA conducted in October 2011/2012.
Samoa In Country Training Program (SICTP)
SUNGO is the coordinating body for the SICTP courses for the civil society sector in Samoa. SICTP courses are run in collaboration with the National University of Samoa, NZAID and AUSAid. All courses are conducted by qualified trainers from Samoa and sometimes Australia or New Zealand. Certificates are presented to participants who successfully meet the objectives of each course.
How to Register
All courses have a limited number of seats in order to ensure that individual needs are met. Participants must be working in an area related to course content. Please confirm your participation early to avoid disruptions and guarantee your spot.
